Heekin Orthopedics Specialists is Moving its Riverside Office!

Heekin Orthopedic Specialists have been looking to expand their Riverside office for some time now. Since the initial opening of the Heekin Orthopedics office in the historic Five Points area seven years ago, the practice has seen enormous growth with the addition of four additional fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons, an exceptional physical therapy department, and a thirty-fold increase in patients.
Work is underway for a new, more spacious home for Heekin Orthopedic Specialists (formerly Heekin Orthopedics). The new office will be located on the third floor of the Family Medicine Center building across Riverside Avenue from St. Vincent’s Medical Center, at 2627 Riverside Avenue. The opening of the new office will be May 19, 2008.
The new office space will be warm and inviting, boasting 13,500 square feet of bright and comfortable surroundings. With a larger waiting area, more patient rooms, the latest in information technology , new state-of-the-art equipment, and increased parking, our patients will enjoy the very best orthopedic facility and expert care in the southeast!
Our top-shelf Physical Therapy department will also be included in the new office space, providing seamless and convenient care for our patients. Ample parking in the parking lot adjacent to the new building will make parking easier and provide only a short walk to the clinic. And being right across the street from St. Vincent’s Medical Center, our patients will find diagnostic studies, pre-operative appointments and surgeries more convenient than ever!
Heekin Orthopedic Specialists is a five physician practice with two locations, specializing in Total Joint Replacement, Hand Surgery, Sports Medicine, and Arthroscopy. R. David Heekin MD, was recently appointed Medical Director of St. Vincent’s Orthopedic Center of Excellence, and Rahul Deshmukh MD, is Chief of Orthopedics at St. Luke’s Hospital. All Physicians are fellowship-trained in their specialties.
